I was born in Ahar (Iran) in 1967. In 1991 I obtained my degree as "Interpreter/Translator of Italian" at the "University of Tehran".

In 1990 I began to work as a Journalist for the Iranian weekly magazine "Assre-e-varzesh". Between 1993 and 1994 I have been responsible as "Expert & Editor for the Martial Art's News Desk".

In 1994 I moved to Italy to proceed in my studies and also to deepen my linguistic knowledge of Italian. At the same time I began to work since November 1994 as a journalist at the Rome office of the Iranian News Agency (IRNA).

For the aforesaid agency I covered several high-level international events: first Military World Games (Rome 1995), FAO "World Food Summit" (Rome 1996), international meeting "Men and Religions" organized by the community Sant'Egidio (Rome 1996) and the first visit of the Iranian President Mohammad Khatami, in Italy (1999), etc.

In May 2000 I began to cooperate as head of the Persian language section at "Logos" for a multilingual dictionary.

Since January 2001 I was head of the "Logos Multilanguage E-Dictionary Staff".

In April 2002 I obtained my Ph.D. in "Sciences of Communication" at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".

Since August 2002 I work as freelance.
